Press Release Body: (November 24, 2007)- Washington's premier literary and culture
newsmagazine, The Seattle Review of Books, announced its top picks in literature and
fiction for December 2007. Unsurprisingly, James Patterson's Double Cross- which
many dub his best Alex Cross novel yet- came in at first place alongside comedian
Steve Martin's Born Standing Up and Ken Follet's World Without End.

In an unprecedented move, SRB also highlight two-yes, two- collections of poetry for
this month. Newbie author Cortnee Howard's indie hit, Fannin Street, came in at
number two behind Patterson's Double Cross. Robert Hass' highly anticipated
collection of new and selected late poems, Time and Materials, rounded out the list
at number five.

Double Cross, Born Standing Up, World Without End and Time and Materials are now
available at major bookstores nationwide. Howard's Fannin Street is scheduled for
release December 12 and is available for pre-order online.
